FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions

Use GoosleeBot:
  • If your work meetings happen in Google Meet or Zoom, but you chat in Telegram
  • If you have issues with the built-in Telegram call
The bot automatically creates a meeting link in Google Meet, Zoom, Jitsi, FaceTime or Teams right in your chat.

🤝 Business calls and work conferences: Start a Google Meet call right from your work Telegram chat.

🎓 Online lessons: A teacher starts a Zoom meeting in seconds, a student joins instantly from the chat.

👨‍👩‍👧 Family call: Gather your family on Jitsi or FaceTime with a single button tap in the group chat.

🌐 Unstable Telegram call: If a Telegram call drops, the bot switches you to a stable provider without any extra steps.

How it works technically: Telegram doesn't allow bots to make direct audio calls, so GoosleeBot uses a smart solution to simulate a ringtone:
  1. The bot sends your contact a special incoming call message.
  2. Every few seconds the message is deleted and re-sent.
  3. On each update Telegram plays the notification sound for a new message.
Result: if you set a ringtone-like notification sound for the chat with the bot, it creates the effect of a real incoming call. 🔔

To configure: open the bot's ⚙ Settings"Ringtone", pick a melody and set it as the notification sound for the bot chat in Telegram settings.

💡 Tip: Make sure Telegram notification sounds are enabled in your device settings and the bot chat is not muted. More in the documentation →
