Zoom in Telegram: start a Zoom meeting from any chat
You chat in Telegram, but your meetings run on Zoom? GoosleeBot connects the two: create a Zoom meeting without ever leaving the Telegram conversation.
Why start Zoom meetings from Telegram?
Work discussions often live in Telegram, while the actual meetings happen on Zoom. The usual routine: open the Zoom app or web, schedule or start a meeting, copy the invite link, switch back to Telegram, paste it. Every single time.
With GoosleeBot it's one tap: type @GoosleeBot in any chat, pick Zoom, and a meeting card appears right in the conversation. When your counterpart accepts, the Zoom link is generated and a “Join Call” button shows up for both of you.
You keep everything Zoom is good at — cloud recording, breakout rooms, webinars, waiting rooms — while the invitation and the discussion stay in Telegram.
How to connect Zoom to Telegram
- Open Telegram, find @GoosleeBot and tap Start.
- Tap ⚙ Settings and select Zoom.
- Tap Quick Setup and authorize with your Zoom account (standard OAuth — the bot never sees your password).
- The status changes to “Configured”. Done — the setup takes under a minute.
How to start a Zoom meeting in a Telegram chat
- Open any Telegram chat — private or group.
- Type @GoosleeBot and select a Zoom call.
- A meeting card appears in the chat; the other participant accepts via the bot interface.
- The Zoom link is generated and both of you tap “Join Call” to enter the meeting.
Other participants don't need to connect a Zoom account — they join through the generated link as regular Zoom participants.
Security and permissions
GoosleeBot requests the minimum Zoom permissions: basic account info for identification and the ability to create meetings. All traffic uses TLS 1.2+, and secrets are stored encrypted. To disconnect, open Zoom's App Marketplace → Manage → Added Apps and remove GoosleeBot — your token and connection data are deleted automatically. Details in our Privacy Policy.
FAQ
Can I start a Zoom meeting from Telegram?
Yes. Add @GoosleeBot, connect your Zoom account once, then type @GoosleeBot in any chat to create a Zoom meeting without leaving the conversation.
Do other participants need the bot or a Zoom account?
No. Only the meeting creator connects Zoom. Everyone else joins through the generated link.
Is it free?
GoosleeBot is free to try. Meetings run under your own Zoom account, so your plan's limits (like the 40-minute cap on free Zoom) apply as usual.
Why not just use Telegram's built-in calls?
Zoom adds cloud recording, breakout rooms, webinars and admin controls — features built-in messenger calls don't offer. GoosleeBot lets you have both: Telegram for chatting, Zoom for meetings.
More than Zoom
GoosleeBot also works with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Jitsi and FaceTime — you choose the conferencing service, the workflow stays the same. See the full documentation for details.
